Hello! I'm Christy, and I'm a 10-year piano instructor and lifelong piano player. My local music experience includes being an accompanist for the Shawnee Mission School District high schools. In that position, I had the opportunity to accompany solo voice, band and string students in local and state competitions. I also enjoyed a brief time as the Music Librarian for the SMSD before starting a family. I've also enjoyed playing for many weddings and local community events. I own Yeh-Myers Music studio, and have over 20 years teaching experience. I’m a certified piano instructor by the American College of Musicians, National Piano Guild. I send kids to many festivals and competition throughout the year and they received numerous competitions. I can help your children develop a successful technique.

I am currently a music education major at K-State and I love to teach! I have been playing trumpet for 10 years and giving lessons for 4. I have played in a variety of ensembles including marching, concert, and jazz bands at both the high school and college level. I have also played in several solo contests and honors enemsembles.
