Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I have a proven beginners lesson program that I learned from Jack Nicklaus. It is a 5 lesson program and the student will learn the swing and the short game and also how to conduct themselves when playing on a golf course.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been through the PGA business schools 1, 2 and have over 40 years of teaching golf.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$ 40.00 for a 30 -45 minute lessone and $ 175.00 for the 5 lesson beginners package.
How did you get started teaching?
I was playing golf in college and then went out on the tour and found I enjoyed teaching golf more than playing.
What types of students have you worked with?
Every level from beginners and I have a couple of past students who played on the LPGA. I have helped so many players get over small issues to complex issues with their swings.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Teaching my granddaughter and watching her have fun playing the game!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you are wanting to play the game, no matter at what level you are at, I can watch and give you the information and instruction you need to play better.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How does the professional teach? Do they teach one way and only that way or do they realize everyone is built differently both mentally and physically and they will teach you a swing and game to fit you personally.
