I give lessons to people of all ages and skill levels. I focus on working with horse and rider to become a better team through using natural horsemanship techniques.
I enjoy my work because I love seeing the unbreakable bond between horse and rider.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
begin with assessment of the students current knowledge level.
Get an understanding of the goal.
Work through steps of lesson.
Leave every lesson at least one step closer to the goal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working with and training horses for 16 years. I did 4-h for 8 years and showed for 10. I am also a certified horse show judge.
I've been skating for many years and played roller derby for 1 year.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
All lessons start at $20 per hour. Any special lessons not listed will have additional charge.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching when I was about 13. I started with family friends and their kids. I then moved on to doing more professional lessons when I was about 16.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with people anywhere from about 3 years of age all the way up to people in the 60s and 70s.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I specialize in speed events such as barrel racing but also give beginner lessons, fix problems horse and rider are having, as well as doing English flat work lessons.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who is going to work with you and your horse instead of trying to force you your horse or both into something either you aren’t ready for or aren’t comfortable with.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
what riding level are you at?
What are your goals?
Are you willing to work for that goal long term if necessary? Not every thing happens in one lesson.
