Amazeen Stables

Both Jen and Shawn are incredibly professional and wonderful instructors. I board my horse and take lessons. The barn is clean and well taken care of, as are the horses. I feel completely comfortable leaving my beloved horse in their care and know he is being watched and loved. I am an adult rider who started late in life. Jen has been able to help me get over some fears I had after not riding for a year, and is patient and kind. I sometimes need a firmer hand though, and she seems to know just when that is necessary without making me feel inadequate. What I have observed is that both Shawn and Jen are able to assess a riding student throughout their progress and instinctively know when the rider is ready to move forward in their instruction. They are just as talented at teaching a beginning adult with all the extras needed, as they are at teaching more advanced riders and the little ones just starting off. It has been such a positive experience to be at Amazeen Stables.

I have had two horses stabled at Amazeen Stables since 2010. Shawn and Jen are dedicated, professional and hard working trainers. Jen encouraged me at 64 years old to prepare me and the horse they helped choose for me to enter the Morgan Horse Show world.

Monty and I have had many trips around the show ring and many victory passes in the last 6 years. Jen and Shawn have made my dream come true.

Jen is an excellent trainer and has exceptional rapport with young riders.

Amazeen Stables is such a welcoming environment. Whether you are an experienced rider or brand new Jen and Sean make you feel at home. The barn and facilities are wonderful and the horses are beautiful. I couldn’t ask for a better for for lessons for myself and my 4 year old.
