My Teaching Philosophy

No two students are the same, so I teach the basic techniques using each individual’s natural abilities to build their game.

I never change someone’s swing. Your swing is like your fingerprint – yours and yours alone.

The goal is to take your natural swing and create rhythm and consistency.

I build a player's game around the basic fundamentals (grip, set up, aim, posture, balance).

Once the fundamentals are in place, we work on each area of the game from full swing to putting.

I have a very relaxed teaching style using lots of positive reinforcement and encouragement to build confidence.

How I Teach

When I teach someone to play golf I always start with my end goal in mind. Ensure my student has fun and enjoys the experience of playing golf. If you aren’t having fun, why would you continue to play?

My objective has always been:

Keep things simple.

Take as much time as a student needs to explain and demonstrate aspects of the game.

Have you learn at your own pace.

Focus on one element of the game at a time.

Create a fun learning environment.

Because what I really want you to be able to do is: Go Play!
