About
I enjoy sharing my horse knowledge with aspiring stufents. My November seemed like work when you see a student's faces light up with joy when they accomplish a new skill, understand a concept or make a connection with their horse! I strive to educate my riders to be competent horse people who understand their horses behavior and desire a partnership on and off their horse. My own experiences are centeref on a strong base of dressage as the first building block of communication with your horse. Once you are a steady rider and have your basic horse communication skills you can diversify your riding interest...hunters, jumpers, trail riding, eventing, western, dressage your choice. I am a double certified riding instructor from Morven Park International EquestrianInstitute and Agriservices Foundation. My students are varied in their interests. Some students compete actively and they vary to the rider who totally enjoys riding and spending time with a horse, one to one. It is so fulfilling to help riders on their journey!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students get a personalized tour of the barn, go over barn rules and basic horse behavior. Next the students learns how to groom the horse they are to ride.. Many people find the experience of grooming to be very relaxing. Students are than shown how to put on the horses equipment and are encouraged to help. Next the horse is lead I to the ring for the mounted instruction. At the end of the riding time our students may help return the horse to his stall and remove their equipment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Both my students and !myself have completed successfully in Hunter shows, dressage shows, competitive trail riding, eventing and spending time with our horzes.
