My instruction is centered on the fundamentals of the golf swing, emphasizing how to hold the club, posture and balance.
As an instructor my goal is to make the game more fun for golfers at every level and help lower everyone’s scores on the course.
Golf is an art, not a science. I believe in applying the principles of the swing to fit each person’s ability, strengths, and weaknesses. I know I have succeeded when a student leaves a lesson with a better understanding of how to strike the ball in the center of the club and have it fly towards the target.
All my programs are designed to offer a welcoming setting to build friendships and enjoy the business advantages of the golf lifestyle.
My experience as a former LPGA Tour Player has been a great asset to my teaching. I am all about making the game more fun and simplifying every aspect of the game.
Golf has been my true north since the day I started as an 8 year old in Lusaka, Zambia. The friendships I continue to form thanks to golf make every person I meet a reason to get excited and engaged.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I find out what the student would like to work on and we work together from that point forward. I keep to the basics and emphasize the grip, posture and balance.
Together we decide on a plan moving forward. I look at the equipment you bring to the lesson and supply equipment if needed. I make every effort to make the game as much fun as possible.

How did you get started teaching?
It seemed a natural progression to pass on the knowledge accumulated from the World Class Instructors I worked with my entire career as an International Ranked Amateur and then as an LPGA tour player.
I LOVE to teach. LOVE to work with kids. LOVE teaching women and LOVE working with everyone interested in golf.
What types of students have you worked with?
I’ve worked with people of all ages, abilities, skill levels. Women, men, girls and boys. I’ve worked with top ranked amateur players and LPGA and European tour professionals and those brand new to golf.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have a number of juniors I train to participate in the Drive Chip & Putt Championship. They are grouped by sex and age which is just so much fun. The kids go through qualifying rounds with the end goal of making it to Augusta National for the televized finals! My goal is for them to have a great time and get a taste of the essence of the game.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My suggestion is to do some research on the instructor. Speak to someone who has worked with me and choose your instructor the way you would a new doctor or hair stylist. Instructors are in the people business so make sure you enjoy the person you are paying to help you make your fun time more fun!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I would ask how the instructors schedule is going to fit in with yours. The days and times they work.
As the ultimate goal is to improve your play on the course I would ask what the playing opportunity is at the facility or close by and if On-Course playing lessons are part of the menu.
