About this pro

Personalized golf lessons for all levels of players. Work with children, seniors and new or experienced players providing direction with techniques to bring more enjoyment to playing the wonderful game of golf. I have been playing for 60 years and teaching with all levels for over 15 years. I’ve won Mercedes Dealer Championship in 2001 at Sleepy Hollow CC, then winning Northeast Regional Championship at Hudson National and competed in finals in Kapalua in Hawaii where I came in 7th out of 24.

I enjoy observing each student and determining their achievable level of play and being successful in bringing them to their maximum level of play. I also enjoy achieving the increased level of enjoyment for my students of this great game.

I recently participated in a "mini-workshop" with Dan. It was amazing how quickly the time passed! The exercises provided some real insight for my self-improvement. I particularly liked the relationships Dan made between success in life, work and sports.

I heard Dan Tuesday night in an interview with Jordanna Greene on WCCO Radio. You have to meet Dan and experience his extraordinary way of helping others get clarity in their lives.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I normally have a first lesson at a driving range to determine the capabilities of the student and create a plan to address specifics to improve their ball striking. Then, it is up to the golfer to determine the number of lessons (I offer a discount for 5 lesson pack). I often do most lessons at the driving range and also do on course lessons to teach about the many different situations that occur when playing.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a mechanical engineering degree which is of value in the mechanics of the golf swing and the analysis of a students skills and objectives. I use my 58 years of playing which have blessed me with all kinds of experience.
