I have a diversified background which began when I was professionally trained as a boxer / fighter at a young age. I played different sports which included baseball, basketball football, tennis, soccer and track. I used these unique abilities to communicate the golf swing and knowledge of the game to enhance any player at any level. I also incorporate my sports psychology background into the lessons to reinforce the positives, so my students can embrace their experience of their game. My lessons include the history of the game, swing analysis, a plan to get you from where you are to where you want to be, with realistic goals and the plan to achieve these goals. I have the ability to improve anyone's game, regardless of their level from beginners to professionals. I played on the professional mini tour, played from coast to coast. trained in different sports including professional boxing. Scholarship as a defensive back to William & Mary university. I can equate any sport you have played into the golf swing and unique mindset for those who want to learn or improve their game, not just their swing. I can improve your swing or totally transform it if you want. That choice is yours, same as the swing you might have developed. there is no wrong or right way to move the club. Very Knowledgeable
very knowledgeable. Didn't try to change my swing but helped me modify it.
Steve is a great teacher. He keeps his instruction simple yet informative. No doubt spending time with Steve will immediately improve your game. You'll feel much better about your game after each lesson. My recommendations are the highest.
I quickly assess who each student is. What the best approach is to get them to begin to learn the game and the swing. There are no two students alike, and each is treated the same, with the same approach, respect an professionalism. I do not try to change the students swing if they come to me with one, I improve on what they already have built.
I am a professionally trained athlete, former boxer and professional golfer. I played various sports which enables me to translate that philosophy to teaching others the golf swing easier. I have a diversified background in sports and business; This includes sports, computers, fitness and nutrition and law.
I typically charge $225 per hour... I also make myself available after the lessons. My students are life time achievers and can always reach out to me with any questions or concerns including the purchase of correct equipment for them or another. I do this at no additional cost.
I offer special the first lesson being two hours and the cost is for just one hour.
When 6 lessons or more are purchased upfront a package deal is dropped to just $125 per lesson.
I studied all the great players alike. I studied the game and it's unique history.
I have worked with amateurs and pros alike. I have and still work with all levels of students including kids with disabilities. I have great patience and this is why I am able to achieve great results for all my students.
There are many events, however seeing one of my students win their club championship was extremely rewarding. Even when they did not believe they could pull this off. Keeping them grounded an focused was a major hurdle to overcome.
Having great chemistry and building a strong repaw is imperative. Having a teacher who is approachable is also key.
Realistic goals for the student
How long should it take to reach them
limitations the student may have that may need to be addressed and worked around, like any physical, emotional or mental issues.
