Scott A. says, ""I must say that I was skeptical at first, because the type of exercises presented reminded me of the 'artsy fartsy' stuff I thought was useless when I was a much younger actor. Welll.....HOW WRONG I WAS! Because of my encounter with Beth, I have now become an even better actor as I fully realize how important it is to fully release oneself on a stage. It was cleansing, cathartic even, as I found emotion and physicality within me that I never knew existed. I can't wait to work with her again." Scott Zimmerman. Actor." Read more

Robert L. says, "Edward Green is a fantastic teacher! He is extremely knowledgeable about so much music, and he makes brilliant connections among the different styles and his students's interests. I studied classical piano with him and film scoring, and we were also always digging into jazz, and new music, and West African music, and books, and relating all of it to life! I highly recommend Edward Green as a wonderful, deep and generous source of knowledge, wisdom and music!" Read more

Hey, I'm Caroline! A singer, songwriter, actor, and producer based in New York. With 4 years of teaching experience and a degree in Theatre Performance from Marymount Manhattan College, I'm confident I can help you unlock parts of your voice you haven't encountered before. I focus on helping you sing with ease and truly believe that music is a full-body sport. After musical theatre school, I transitioned into the pop music space, but I carry the years of technical training I've been so lucky to receive into every genre. We will focus on music you love and concepts that are challenging but within reach to keep you motivated and creatively fulf

I have been getting guitar lessons with Bryan for over two years. As a forty something year old, who can be very stuck in his ways, Bryan has been abundantly patient with my slow learning process. He is thoroughly knowledgable of the guitar, adapts to my learning curve, finds real life examples that helps move me along in the right direction. So very thankful I decided to go with Bryan as my teacher. He does the music world good simply being the kind of teacher he is.

Lessons with Tim were always fun and productive. He gave specific suggestions about technique to give me a better sound and he taught me a variety of ways to practice that continue to help me learn and understand jazz standards today. In addition to all of this, Tim is very encouraging and he creates a safe and fun learning environment.

As a music educator and professional musician myself for over 35 years, I can say unequivocally that Edward Green is the finest composition teacher I have ever known. His knowledge of music is deep and encyclopedic, spanning the Western tradition as well as the diverse cultures of the world. Most importantly, through his use of the Aesthetic Realism Teaching Method, he is able to encourage the best in his students. As I have seen in classes with him at the Manhattan School of Music and the Aesthetic Realism Foundation, and in private lessons, and have seen, too, in my own career as a music teacher, this method enables a student’s musical expression to flourish. There isn’t a day goes by that I don’t think of and benefit from what I’ve learned from Dr. Green.

So easy to work with. Gives you his all and more and never stops until you completely understand. 3 months of LSAT with him and went from 149 to 166! Probably the best tutor out there.

Andy is explaning subject well. We find the right sounds through practicing differnt techniques with tongue position in the mouth, as well as lips and mouth opening with particular sounds. I have a Russian accent and we work on it. The lessons are easy-going and productive. I would highly recommend Andy as an accent reduction teacher.
