Coach Ken is the best tennis coach I’ve trained with. Since my time on the high school tennis team, I have received coaching from various people. Undoubtedly, I have seen the most rapid improvement in myself after learning from Coach Ken. He taught me new techniques at our first lesson together. Admittedly, I was reluctant to change my continental grip and forehand stroke because of the training I’ve previously received. However, after giving his recommendations a shot (no pun intended), I see that my shots have greatly improved! In a way that I didn’t think was possible— including a one-hand backhand! What stands out about Coach Ken is his ability to provide real-time feedback consistently throughout the lesson. From correcting my grip, to each step of my stroke, to the shift in body weight throughout. It is like his mind is always analyzing each hit. This feedback allows me to actively integrate changes from the beginning to the end of the lesson. I’m looking forward to more lessons with Coach Ken and seeing the improvement in my tennis game. I have recommended him to my family and friends. If you are looking for an experienced committed tennis coach, then I highly recommend Coach Ken!

Edgar is a terrific teacher who really helped me improve my tennis game. He is an excellent listener and quickly got a sense from me of what I wanted to work on, and then after hitting a bit he gave me a really good analysis of what I needed to do to improve and we worked on that. And I really liked that he's also a fan of the game, and talking about the techniques of various pros was helpful, and just chatting about the sport overall was an enjoyable bonus. I look forward to working with him again next spring when tennis weather returns!

As a beginner level tennis player, my main concern was to be trained both physically and mentally to understand and endure the game. I was impressed by the customized program Sergei put together for me. Not only is he exceptionally knowledgeable about the physical exercises fit for every body type or age, he has been able to completely mentally prepare me for a tennis match and teach me the understanding of the game. His experience in physical therapy definitely helped me have confidence that I won’t hurt myself in practices, in fact, he has been very delicate and determined to help me improve my physical qualities and my performance. Sergei is very skilled in injury prevention and recovery. His experience with tennis equipment was absolutely helpful too! From picking the right size and weight racket to recommending the right strings, he was willing to help me choose my first tennis racket. Sergei is a determined to help his players succeed. He’s polite, always on time! He will push you to work hard but he will also know your limits better than yourself! Truly, the perfect coach for all level players.
