What is your typical process for working with a new student?

My typical process when working with a new student, is to ask them questions about there experience and any limitations they may have.  After assessing their golf swing, we work on individual areas targeted to improve their golf swing. Furthermore, we break down the entire golf swing.


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a BS in Business Marketing From Fordham University. I am a PGA Class A teaching professional with 20 years experience managing and teaching at several golf clubs in the area.


Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

My standard pricing is $50 for a 1/2 hour lesson and $90 for an hour lesson.  If you do a series of lessons, you receive $5 off each lesson.  My most popular Package is 4 half hour lessons for $180.


How did you get started teaching?

After developing an interest in golf and playing the game at a proficient level, I decided to become certified and work at a golf course to learn the business.


What types of students have you worked with?

I work with kids and adults and beginners to more advanced players. I've coached golf at the collegiate level.


Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I've enjoyed teaching a disabled student in a program for the seeing impaired.


What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Look for a teacher that is passionate about his work and is interested in seeing you learn and improve in the game of golf.


What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Questions students may have can range frome proper clubs, strategic goals, course mangement to proper golf etiquette.
