Gary N. says, "I really appreciate the fact that because of his background and certification as an educator, he incorporates curriculum in his lessons. I've worked with other instructors that dont have as much of a background in both the performing and the education. I feel like I get both educated technique methods along with hands on experience." Hey I’m Nick, I’m a working actor based in New York. I just graduated NYU Tisch and am in the extension division at Juilliard. A little bit about myself: I’ve been in a bunch of plays Off-Broadway, Off-Off Broadway, Australia, New Zealand. I’m also in a few films. One is on Amazon Prime. A show I’m the lead in is about to be picked up by Tubi, I believe. Anyway, I moved here from Canberra Australia when I was 17, and have built a career here all by myself. I had no connections or anything. And I have a great manager and am auditioning for loads of big projects. I also love teaching though. I’ve been assistant teaching at the Lee Strasberg Ins

Sarah Beth Andrews is one of the best voice teachers , I have ever had. She teaches you great vocal technique, and gives you great visuals as to where your voice and breathing should be. When singing through a song. I have learned so much for her, and my singing has advanced to a higher level. Since I have started with her, for about a year. She is so passionate about singing, and so caring about her students! Sarah has made me regain my love and passion for singing. Every lesson I have with her, is so awesome and amazing. Sarah is one of a kind, a true treasure and I’m so grateful, and blessed to have her in my life, and as a voice teacher!!

I have studied with Katherine Keyes for the last four years. She is a wonderful teacher. She is very knowledgeable, supportive, patient and meticulous in helping me to continuously improve my vocal technique. I love that she incorporates Alexander Technique into my voice lesson. It is so helpful and carries over into my performing as well.

One of the best collaborations I can recall is that with Maria Tsaroucha, who directed and led in my play “The Missing- an interesting life. This is a play which, on the occasion of the “difficult” subject of people missing in the aftermath of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974, deals with contemporary issues such as intentional ignorance and fear. The play had already been produced several times but Tsaroucha’s presentation surpassed all expectations. She presented it from the point of view of an ancient Greek tragedy and the production was enriched by the ancient emotion of Methexis and Catharsis. Through PAD, she was able to interlink contemporary theater with the rituals and the sacred emotion of Ancient Tragedy, thus presenting the audience with a invaluable esthetic experience. A unique experience also for the actors who participated and had the opportunity to explore their limits and abilities past the boundaries of the conventional acting technique. Moreover, Maria Tsaroucha, who had one of the leading roles, gave a live and fully characteristic instance of PAD, attaining to a performance overwhelming in its simplicity and naturalness.

I loved the personal attention I got from my DPRdance Lessons. I spent time one on one with an instructor who developed our lesson plans for my personal needs! At one point I wanted to bring friends in for a group lesson, and they set the class up for me no problem!
