We take time to learn how a new student learns best, and what they may already know. We then go from there and continue at a pace that works for each individual student, as people are on different levels, learn at a slower or faster pace, and have different needs.

USHJA Trainer Certification

Donna Owen (Owner) has over 20 years experience in showing, teaching, training and breeding. She certified and fully insured. She has successfully competed in high level jumpers as a junior and hunters as a professional with many awards as both a rider and a trainer. Her students competing at levels from leadline to amateur jumpers have won numerous awards at the Northeast Regional Championships each year and her students guided Go Go Gidget to Pony of the Year awards in 2005, Go Go Gidget also competed at the 2010 USEF Pony Finals in Lexington, KY and came home with a bronze medal in the team championship. The ponies under her training have earned numerous USEF Zone and National awards year after year. Donna also earned the 2010 and 2012 USEF Leading Pony Jumper Owner title. Her students range in age from 6 years old to adults well into their 60's. Pony jumpers are her specialty.

Donna started riding at the age of 8 and has worked with and trained with notable professionals such as George Morris, Nick Karazissis, trainer and equestrian author, Peg Cannell and many others.

Devon Owen (Assistant Trainer) Has been riding since she was just 3 years old and has now followed in her moms footsteps as trainer and horse owner. Devon has competed at top show venues on the east coast earning top placings at each competition. Devon is a 7X USEF National Champion in both Hunter and Jumper divisions. 

We work with beginner students and take them from their first lesson to National Finals. We offer lessons to kids and adults of all riding levels and ages 6+.
