Patience, availability for questions and dedication to my desire to learn best define my experience with Patrick. It was such dedication that also made him call me out when he didn’t think I was doing my best or was making careless mistakes. Perhaps this wouldn’t be that outstanding except that Patrick did all of this long distance; he was in Philadelphia and I was in Delaware. He was timely in mailing me assignments and tests, and even more so in grading and returning them. I learned more from him in the 2 years I studied with him than I did in my last year of theory in my undergrad at music school. If you have the opportunity to study with Patrick Kreeger, consider yourself lucky. You couldn’t find better quality teaching elsewhere.”

Gabe has taught my daughter piano for more than two years. He is patient, kind, and a skilled musician and teacher. A few things that are really important to me as parent (and an educator)-- he really seems interested in her learning process. He keeps her engaged with teaching songs she wants to learn; he incorporates activities that help her grow her skills (reading music, rhythm); his kindness plus his love of music makes my daughter totally engaged. n addition to the traditional music theory and performance instruction, Dina has tailored her approach to teaching my daughter based on her interests and skill. For example, she plays games with my daughter that help with learning theory (with pencil and paper and on the keyboard). They also listen to her favorite pop songs and clap out the beats. They talk about famous composers and listen to the classics. After a few months, Dina had my daughter start playing Bach. I will admit that getting her to practice is still a struggle, but then again I hated practicing as a kid too. I check in with Dina often on her study and I am happy that we are able to discuss different strategies to keep my daughter interested in studying piano. Overall, my daughter is building confidence and pride in playing piano. She felt quite proud performing Minuet in G at the recital and playing for family and friends. I believe that this has helped her appreciate the hard work she puts into practicing and taking lessons. I am more than happy with Dina's teaching.

I loved my guitar lessons with Yves and my son loves his bass guitar lessons as well. Yves has a proven approach to getting and keeping students engaged throughout the year with some progressively visible improvement to the song playing and various techniques. I started guitar as a beginner with Yves at about 40 years old and am still playing several years later. I love knowing i can play or learn any song i want thanks to Yves and enjoy playing with friends and family around.
