About

I'm a dedicated coach with a unique background. I am 100% committed every day to helping my students improve and enjoy the great game of golf more than ever.

I am a Golf Channel Academy Lead Coach. I was named by U.S. Kids Golf as one of the top 50 kids teachers into the world in 2017. I was also selected by Golf Digest as one of the best teachers in New Jersey for 2017-2018. I currently coach golf golfers out of a private indoor studio located in Little Silver, NJ that features a state of the art simulator with putting analysis software, adjustable putting table, Boditrak pressure mat and K-Motion 3D system. I enjoy working with players of all abilities and coach a number of junior golfers, several of whom are the best in their age groups in the NY/NJ area.

I am also one of two AimPoint certified putting coaches in New Jersey. My studio is also a SeeMore Putter Company Tour Fitting Studio location. I have represented the company on the PGA Tour and have taught putting to PGA Tour and Champions Tour players. Coaching clients receive a 15% discount on custom fitted SeeMore putters, which have been used to set U.S. Open, Masters and British Open putting records.

I really enjoy helping people improve at something they are passionate about. The relationships I develop with my students is my favorite thing about coaching. I have loved golf since I started playing at age 12 and take pride in helping my students enjoy the game more.

I made a 105 feet of putts the round after my AimPoint clinic. It was crazy good. 27 putts and shot 73. I have a process I trust, its quick, accurate and I have much more confidence. I highly recommend Paul and AimPoint!

I am a 3 handicap, play many amateur golf tournaments but still inconsistent. I have taken Lessons from some of the top pros in the country.
I started working with Paul on just putting techniques in the spring of 2013. As I got to know Paul I realized that he embraces technology but is not consumed by it. Consequently, I started working with him on my full swing and long game. He took time to get to know my tendencies and does not have just 1 approach to teaching. I am hitting the ball as consistent as I ever have and this is the first winter in a long time that Im not trying to rebuild my swing. I am starting to own my swing and realizing cause and affect. I cant wait until the spring and finally playing up to my potential.

I’ve been working with Paul for about 4-1/2 years now. When I first met him, he was the only available coach at that particular golf club and I, at 47 years of age, was brand new to the game. So I took a chance. I was immediately struck by several things:
    - His easy tee-side manner. Very personable, not in the least overly dramatic or overbearing, and very generous with the give and take needed between teacher and student in order for the student to take away as much as possible from each lesson. His goal is obviously bettering your game in whichever way is best for you!
    - He is a very well researched instructor. He keeps himself informed on the many teaching techniques out there. He is also willing to incorporate from a vast array of tools whichever ones may be beneficial to your learning process in order to inform you, while at the same time insuring the technology does not get in the way of your evolving natural golf swing.

    Frequently asked questions

I evaluate each student as an individual. We will look at your full swing, short game and putting tehcnique and do some Titleist Performance Institute screens to assess your mobility and stability. This information will provide a solid foundation for a game plan.

I attended Colgate University and was co-captain of the golf team before he left early to play professional golf.  I competed for three years on the Golden Bear (now Gateway) tour and other mini-tours but an injury thwarted my quest to play on the PGA TOUR.

I returned to school at Rutgers University and graduated with a B.A. in Political Science with highest honors. I earned a Juris Doctorate Degree, with honors, from the University of Miami School of Law, and passed the bars in New York and New Jersey.  For several years, Paul worked as a child protective services prosecutor in the New Jersey Attorney General's office before returning in 2011 to a career in golf.

I have served on the New Jersey PGA's Junior Golf and Public Relations Committees, I am certified by AimPoint Technologies, the SeeMore Putter Company, the Titleist Performance Institute, Eyeline Golf, and K-Motion 3D to use their state of the art K-Coach 3d system.

I started by helping my coach and mentor, Emanuel Worley, with his camps and clinics in Chicago when I was in high school.

Champions Tour players, PGA Tour players, Division 1 College Golfers, elite level junior golfers, club players.

A student recently told me he is enjoying golf more and can spend more time with his family on the golf course now.

Research their qualifications, but you have to meet them to determine whether you will have "chemistry."

How much time will you have on a weekly basis to practice and play? Are you willing to do exericses or a fitness program to help your game?
