Everyone is knowledgeable and friendly. Great place for kids and families. Horses are sweet and gentle. My daughter has been riding there for 5 years and Seaton Hackney Stables was instrumental in helping her when she wanted her own horse. This barn is our second home and the people are like family.

    Frequently asked questions

Call, reserve, be evaluated and schedule an introductory lesson

all instructors are graduates from Equestrian Schools or have over 10 years experience.

We offer so many different options that we cannot mention them all here. Lert us just say that as a privately run but Country owned facility we provide the best possible service at very reasonable rates.
After many years of riding competitively, I felt I was ready to impart my knowledge of horses to my own customers.
ALL! From Beginner to Advanced students and in all disciplines. We currently have a very good program for our Special Abilities customers who truly enjoy interacting with our supportive staff and all the critters that our facility hosts.
We are always happy to see our Intercolastic Equestrian team do well at the many inexpensive Shows that they attend. We are also elated to see our People of Determination (Special Needs) improve their skills and acquire new ones through the interaction with our fantastic instructors. We have many friendly events throughout the year allowing our great customers to create lasting bonds with their peers.
What make a riding facility successful are happy staff and happy horses. Come and visit the facility; see how well the horses are taken care of. Interact with the staff, then schedule an evaluation lesson based on your experience -if any- and the right Instructor based on your age, goals and personality. Do not rush into a long term committment. Try a few times, then decide.
Based on their personality, preferences and specific goals, i.e. timid rider, beginner, intermediate, advanced, trail rider, Western or English rider, potential students should make sure that they get the most appropriate instructor. Don't hesitate to discuss all these when calling our office to make an appointment.
