Derek is professional and patient! Having never teed up before, I knew I needed to learn the very basics but also wanted to quickly build enough confidence to start playing with friends and colleagues. Derek is a true a pro and equally effective teacher, he was able to quickly help me understand the foundational aspects of the sport (equipment, basic rules, lingo, when to chip vs pitch, etc) but also the more nuanced, important elements (i.e.; etiquette lingo) of the what seemed like a complicated game. While I am certainly still a beginner, Derek has helped me develop my training plan and a strong foundation so I can focus on advancing my game instead of wasting time unlearning bad habits. I look forward to continuing lessons this year!

I really liked Derek because I started the first lesson hitting the ball all over the place, and even missing a few. He completely knew what I was doing wrong, told me how to make a few tweeks, and by the end of the first lesson I was hitting straight every shot! I now take lessons from Derek regularly.
