Rather than teaching everyone the same swing, I show my students how the swing works and apply to their swings, game, practice.
it's all individualized. I work with the student to have them become more efficient in their swings; mostly by working on tried and true basics.
there are no secrets to the game other than understanding how your own swing works.
If by chance, the student happens to be an athlete of another game I have help hundreds transition much easily by explaining the swing in the terms they understand through; baseball, tennis, cricket and all other sports.

now, if you want technical jargon, I'm not your guy. If you want Trackman other than club head speed and distance go elsewhere.
I believe that kind of teaching to a novice does more damage than good.
I would rather teach golf and pass along my fifty years experience than play.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I watch what they do and determine what it is they need to work on the most and go from there.
If the students catches on we continue that course of direction, if not we reevaluate and move in a different direction.
it is by no means, color by numbers approach. Everyone is difference and should be taught accordingly; for instance, you wouldn't teach a baseball player the same as a hokey player.
