About
Instructor and trainer Melissa Reese is a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist. She has a passion for teaching and sharing her love of horses and the sport of dressage. After many years of experience teaching students of varying skill levels, Melissa still genuinely enjoys working with beginner students of all ages, as well as experienced riders who are new to dressage.
Melissa enjoys helping her students progress both in the saddle and in their horsemanship skills in the barn. Not only is she a knowledgeable and dedicated riding instructor, she also enjoys taking the time to help her students develop their skills and confidence working with the horses in the barn. Her students benefit from the full experience of true horsemanship. Melissa has experience teaching students of all ages, including young children.

Private lessons are individualized to move at each student's pace.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Melissa graduated from Rutgers University in 2011 with a degree in Animal Science, concentrating in Equine Science. She has been riding dressage for over 20 years, and has been teaching and training professionally for over a decade. During that time, Melissa has continued her own education receiving instruction from multiple highly respected dressage riders.
