Gail is extremely talented. Each week I would bring in some of my work that she would help me clean up. Lyrics, structure, melody. She’s a very gifted lyricist. Gail makes sure that you get your full money’s worth each lesson - we work from start to finish, and I made loads of progress each session. Gail is also a working artist herself with many amazing songs and music videos, so she brings many elements of her own experience to the table. Her apartment is cozy and welcoming. I am very thankful to have taken lessons with Gail, I have learned so much from her. I feel she has best prepared me for a future in this industry.

I recently had the pleasure of collaborating as pianist for Peter Mark's master class for young Opera singers and found him to be highly effective in his ability to elicit the best possible results from each of the participants. Due to his many years of professional experience in the world of Opera, Peter knows exactly what is needed to be heard as far as vocal production and style in the widest possible variety of repertoire, but more importantly, through his unique methods is able to quickly achieve the desired results from each of the singers.

I am so glad we found Michelle of Take Note Lessons. We have a 5th grader and 8th grader who both actively enjoy piano lessons and are both progressing well. Michelle adapts her teaching style to fit students' personalities - we see this demonstrated weekly as our girls certainly have their individual quirks....and nothing seems to phase her! She's open and warm enough that they both feel they can talk to her and yet they quickly buckle down to work too. Strongly recommend!

Vincenzo really takes the time to understand your voice (its strengths as well as areas for improvement.) Vincenzo organizes our lessons around developing good techniques for breathing and playing with the strengths of my voice to aid in the weaker areas. He’s great at helping you visualize and understand how your instrument works and what can be practiced and improved upon to make singing healthy, easy, and impactful! I love working with Vincenzo I feel like I’ve known him for years!
