I started playing bass when I was 11 years old, was in several rock bands through junior high and high school, played bass in the University of Arizona, Arizona jazz band, toured Japan with the UNLV jazz band, have done extensive studio recording with various Christian rock bands, and played bass for years at my church. I picked up rhythm acoustic guitar in my early 20s and lead worship at my churches for years on acoustic guitar.
