About this pro

Tony has extensive experience working with golfers of all abilities, he has been nationally recognized by the PGA for his work with beginning golfers. His greatest asset as a teacher is his ability to communicate clearly with a student the exact feel or change that the two are working on achieving.

Tony graduated from Taft Junior College (CA) with an Associates Degree, attended and competed on the Golf Team at Florida Atlantic University, andCalifornia State University Bakersfield where he pursued a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Golf Management.

He has been a two-time participant at the PGA National Teaching & Coaching Summit, has studied the golf swing and taken lessons from several of the leading teachers in golf today.

Tony is currently working towards becoming one of just 500 teachers to earn a PGA Specialty Certification in Teaching.

Teaching Philosophy:

Tony’s teaching philosophy is based upon solid fundamentals and teaching the student that the secret to golf is getting the ball in the hole! He truly believes ball flight corrections can be traced to impact or setup position. He uses video analysis to show the student the things they do well in the swing, as well as the areas of the swing that need to be corrected. He also teaches his students to analyze their ball flight, and educates them on cause and effect on their bad shots. Tony has a great passion for teaching the wedge, putter and scoring game, he tries to get across that quicker way to lower scores is by working on their short game.

Tony recently became a Certified Instructor with Vector Putting, and hosts clinics to share the proper techniques to make you a better green reader, and ultimately make more putts.

Tony is also a Certified Club Fitter, and truly believes equipment affects motion. He has worked for some of the leading club manufactures in the country, and has worked on the PGA Tour as a Golf Club Technician working with and building golf clubs for the best players in the world!

Contact Tony today and find out how he can improve your golf game, help you shoot lower scores and have more fun on the golf course.

I teach players of all abilities, the fundamentals that will get them out on the golf course and getting positive results!

Tony, knew after a few swings that I could totally change my swing and be shooting mid-70's. Also by generating power in a simple swing that will benefit my entire game.
