What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Getting to know where they are comfortable at with the horses and also making it a fun experience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been riding since I was 5 years old. I have shown western pleasure, showmanship and have done some barrel races in California. I have been teaching lessons since I was 18 and training horses since I was 21. I have also worked summer horse camps as well. I just try to making the whole horse experience fun and exciting for kids and adults.

How did you get started teaching?
I have always been good with kids and just teaching in the first place . Then when I added horses into the mix just made everything better. I'm not your typical equestrian. I don't believe you have to be all fancy to do this sport. I believe if you have the passion and drive then anything is possible.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with 3year olds who don't want to get off the horse too 80year olds who just want to just learn to groom. Then also I have a little show team from barrel racing team to my hunter jumper team that I take to local shows in Vegas, Arizona and California.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the student and teacher have a good connection and that the student understands and likes the teaching methods
