I ensure that students are taught from a personalized curriculum that brings them closer to their goals while emphasizing the music fundamentals that will prepare and enrich them for life. I am passionate about piano and music theory.

I am a former Band and Orchestra teacher who now teaches piano, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and saxophone out of my home. Currently, I am a Board Member with the Las Vegas Music Teachers Association. I am a member of MTNA and NAfME. My students participate in competitions, Solo and Ensemble Festival, Honors; Band, Junior Festival, recitals, MTNA National Musicianship exam as well as many other opportunities. I love seeing the excitement that students get out of making music. In fact, that is my goal: teaching students to make music, not just play the piano. Having said that, I do believe in a comprehensive approach to lessons which includes theory, technique, sight reading and musicianship. I have a BM degree in piano performance from the University of Redlands and a MM in piano performance from Cal State Fullerton, as well as over 25 years of experience in teaching, accompanying and work as a church musician....

A graduate (MA, piano performance) from the Royal Academy of Music, I focus on teaching intermediate and advanced piano students. Working with them on challenging repertoire to set and achieve their artistic vision for their performance, piano lessons are intended to be a combination of interpretation and technique, and last at minimum 45 minutes.
