I love seeing the excitement that students get out of making music. In fact, that is my goal: teaching students to make music, not just play the piano. Having said that, I do believe in a comprehensive approach to lessons which includes theory, technique, sight reading and musicianship. A graduate (MA, piano performance) from the Royal Academy of Music, I focus on teaching intermediate and advanced piano students. Working with them on challenging repertoire to set and achieve their artistic vision for their performance, piano lessons are intended to be a combination of interpretation and technique, and last at minimum 45 minutes.
