I work with new and returning riders of all ages.My focus is correct functional posture of horse and rider to promote many years in the saddle or being ridden.I work from the ground up to cultivate knowledgeable equestrians with a strong emphasis on systematically developing rider and horse .I am all inclusive from health of horse and rider ,developing confidence,nutrition and correct handling and lunging.I teach balance seat/low level dressage and jumping and western pleasure.
I enjoy the relationship between horse and human which opens an entire explorative world that with the horse can last a lifetime.I enjoy challenge and continued growth obtained when people engage with the horse..and with my teaching passion I love to see horses and humans flourish and quietly communicate with each other.There truly is a kingdom in a horse ;and I love sharing my years of experience to bring someone into horses or return to horses after an extended period away for whatever reason.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ascertain their background,find out their horses background, watch them or instruct them in grooming,saddling,bridling,safe leading techniques..assess saddle and bridle fit.Safety is tantamount, then move into the area the student wishes to move in, assess riding skills if have previous experience.Discuss the direction the student wishes to take,ascertain a logical path toward achieving goals ,whether it is for fine tuning pleasure/trail riding skills,lunging,or for the show ring.
