My music studio, “C2 Studios”, is located in New York City. It is a professional music studio dedicated to nurturing the talent of guitarists no matter what level they may be at. With over 35 years of experience, I’ve offered private guitar and music lessons, focusing on improvisation, song writing, harmony, theory, reading, and ear training. My mission is to unlock the music students already feel inside, helping them improve their skills, unlock the music they already have inside, and help them perform with inspiration.

The main objective of the Private Customized Lessons, at all levels, is to have fun in a relaxed atmosphere which will encourage the student to realize his / her Full Potential. My Teaching Method is simple - through your instrument of choice, you will learn how music is constructed and applied. Along with this, various Techniques will be learnt that are able to be utilized in any style. You will build skills in Improvising, Rhythm, Melody, Dexterity and more, which will give you freedom to create and / or play anything. Hi my name is Chris and I’ve been teaching for just about a decade now and I love to engage with the student in a way that helps them learn in a positive environment. I’ll bring the energy, lesson materials and a friendly face and we can dive into making music.

As a teaching artist for many years, I have worked with countless numbers of individuals, all ages, many of them level one students. The one constant over the years is how different everyone's needs are. I learn from my students how to keep my approach to teaching flexible and fresh. The give-and-take that can occur between student and instructor is dynamic and exciting!
