I’m a guitar player offering basic and advanced lessons. Includes theory and song playing. Tips and guidance. I offer lessons in styles of Rock, Pop, and Latin music. Finger picking and regular picking.

My teaching approach: For "absolute beginners" I start with note reading, chord playing, proper fingering, basic music theory, and playing simple songs. Material is presented in a graded fashion so the student's learning is enhanced. For intermediate to advanced students I begin sight reading studies, advanced chord playing, scales, improvisation, theory, ear training and more complex songs. As a teaching artist for many years, I have worked with countless numbers of individuals, all ages, many of them level one students.
