I offer piano/music theory/ ABRSM lessons and help prepare auditions for college or talent middle/high school. I have more than 6 years of teaching. I won the first prize in both New York and Los Angelos branch in Golden Classic Music Award and performed in Walt Disney Hall. I am an active performer in the NYC area. I have started my contemporary concert series and had the premier concert "holding a daisy" last July in the upper west side. I had the honor for La Weekly to cover my concert stories.

I teach not just the violin but music. I provide context. I teach some music theory and music history. I think it helps to understand what you are playing and where it came from. I have degrees in composition and music theory as well as undergraduate degrees in economics and philosophy. Also, I really emphasize sound. I think it's so important whether you're learning the violin at 6 or 60. Sound is so magical; it surrounds and stimulates us. You can feel the violin vibrate when you play it!
