About
I believe you have come to the right space if you are looking for expertise in DJing, Music Production, Music Theory, Mixing & Mastering or any other electronic music related field.
Why ?
I say this because I come from a strong educational background in music as I have studied music theory from Trinity College, London, successfully finished a Music Industry Essential Course from NYU-TISCH, New York and have been teaching music production and djing from past 8 years and counting.
I also believe in learning everyday so that I stay to upto date with the everyday evolving electronic music industry so that I can impart the same knowledge to my peers.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Anytime I get a new enquiry I try to understand my student first. On our first call we would talk about our experieces, what kind of music does he/she like, how they got into music production, any experience with musical instrument, etc etc.
After that we dive a little bit in the DAW and show what all is possible in the laptop. I don't follow a linear approach, I try to arrange my modules in a way that works best for the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been DJing since I was 16 and over the time I developed my expertise in it with a lot of trial & error. I've spent more time in reading books, magazines, manuals about music than any other subject.
But with time I realised the importance of certificates as they add so much credibility so I went on with Music Theory from Trinity College till Grade 6 and I also successfully obtained a certificate 'Music Industry Essentials' From NYU-TISCH which basically gave me a lot of information about the business side.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes I do have a couple of packages for that :
Pro-Djing - 25$/hr
Electronic Music Production - 35$/hr
Music Theory - 200$/12 sessions
Mixing/Mastering (Stems Based) - 70$
Mixing/Mastering (Without Stems) - 45$
You can also go for a full course in that case I provide discounts and also include sample packs in the courses.
How did you get started teaching?
When I was growing up and was struggling with EMP I couldn't find much help because there was hardly any good music schools where I come from. I definitely felt the need of a boutique music school in Delhi, India and that's what motivated me to get into that direction.
Moreover I feel that my personality is also something that came into play because I enjoy helping people and I really don't mind going an extra mile if its needed for my students.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with a vast variety of people. I have worked with artists, Dj's, singers, song writers and of various age groups, ranging from 14 to 65 years.
I feel like music is something that doesn't have any barriers unlike a lot of other fields where age plays a big role. I just look for the enthusiasm in an individual who wants to get into music regardless of their age.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I moved to New York recently and I realised that I need to start DJing to keep myself much more motivated. So recently I had a couple of gigs and I performed after 5 years and it was such a great expereince since I got really good compliments and people wanted to connect with me :)
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The only advice that I can give to any student would be that if you want to find success in any field there are a few things that you would need to follow : Consistency, Dedication and a Positive Attitude.
If you have all three I don't think you'll ever fail and even if you do your positive attitude will get you out of that and reach out to people who are like minded.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What they expect from the teacher ?
What is their end goal when it comes music ?
How much time would they be able to take out in a week for a new subject ?
That's about it but a general description about who they are helps us in understanding what their persona is as a artist :)
