Teaching is much more than just mechanical “coaching” of violin playing technology. Every student, even the youngest one, is first of all a person, a musician. And I always tried to treat my students as junior colleagues, not “teaching” them something, but helping them to understand better such an all-encompassing world as music is. That is why the violin teaching system I created is called "Sensible System of Violin Playing". This System includes the experience and best achievements of the practical violin school.

I was formerly lead trumpet with Broadway's An American in Paris national tour and have 20 years of playing experience. I hold Master's and Bachelor's degrees in trumpet performance from Northwestern University and was previously enrolled in the Doctorate of Musical Arts program at Yale University in trumpet.
