About
Hey! I'm Abel Abraham and I'm currently a senior in college! Played JV/varsity basketball and track & field since middle school; consider myself to be a tenacious athlete and I have a true passion for improving my body day by day. If you really want to be pushed to the limit, let me work you out! I'm the captain of my church basketball team and strive to make everyone around me better as I run the point guard position. Look forward to training with you!
It's all about trusting the process, a phrase made famous by Joel Embiid from the 76ers, and I truly resonate with that quote. The journey will be long and bumpy, but you will reap the benefits with the proper information and drive.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Varies based on age, skill level and individual goals. Programs are speficially tailored to each individual's needs. I will make it my mission for you to leave the gym satisfied that you will improve and be better every day we train together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
7 years of basketball training affiliated through Junior Varsity and Varsity team play in middle school and high school -- where my love for training originated. It has proven to be very effective as I learned through my coaches and their logic behind each of their drills.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Depends on multiple factors including location, length of workout, size of group (individual, partner, small group, team, clinic).
How did you get started teaching?
I trained my first basketball client last summer when a father and son saw me randomly train one of my friends at LA Fitness. He stopped and asked if I could train his son for basketball and improve his athleticism and I was glad to do that. He's been my only client thus far since my summer was busy that year.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with elementary kids, high school students, college athletes, as well as retired adults looking to make a difference in their lifestyle for fat-loss!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I think it's important to find someone who practices what they teaches. Especially at my age and with the level of play I try to be at, I'm constantly trying to get better and that, in return, will feed off to my clients because I want him/her to reach the maximum potential that he/she can attain. In addition, realize that not all successful and knowledgeable basketball coaches are good people; make sure you find a trainer/coach who is positive and supportive of your individuals goals.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Define your goals, where you want to be in both the short term (next 3-6 months) and long term (2-5 years)
