Hey my name is Keven Rodriguez, baseball coach and trainer. I’ve been training kids for two years, ages between 5 and 17 years old. Ever since I started training I’ve gained this passion to make sure kids are getting better at the sport I love, puts a smile on my face when I see kids I work with getting better and better. I’ve been playing the sport of baseball since I was 6 years old and played all the way to the D1 collegiate level. Through out all those years I gained a great amount of knowledge and experience to help any kid make it to the next level.

I have years of baseball experience including playing and coaching. I have played baseball my whole life including playing in an independent baseball league. I have coached at the middle school and high school level. I strive to not only teach the fundamentals of baseball but the ups/downs and fitness aspects of it all. I have great experience with outfielders as well as that was my primary position.

m3nt4l baseball is a program that focuses on helping our players get the most out of their bodies, through proper sequencing and transferring power and energy from the ground up. We promote a high contact rate and low strike out rate, with mental clarity while in the batter's box. Our players will learn that 95% of the game is mental, and in order to see success a player must trust and enjoy the process. Not the result.

Coach Angel Lugo, owner of the Cadets Player Development Academy, has been a leader in baseball training for over 20 years. After being drafted by the Minnesota Twins as a shortstop in 1988 he later transitioned to be a pitcher with the Florida Marlins and the Toronto Blue Jays. At the end of his professional career he became dedicated to sharing his knowledge and passion for the game with young people looking to succeed at higher levels of baseball. In addition to running CPDA, Coach Lugo currently serves as the Pitching Coach for Mount St. Mary's College in Newburgh, NY, and is the New York State Coordinator for USA Baseball's North Atl
