Hello! I am currently studying Music Education at SUNY Fredonia and have been playing trombone for over nine years. I have strong music theory skills and experience performing in a variety of musical settings, such as Jazz, Rock, Pop, Classical, and Musical Theatre. Musical ability did not come naturally to me, which allows me to better understand the challenges many students face. I fell in love with jazz, especially Dixieland, Louis Armstrong, Jack Teagarden, through Miles Davis, JJ Johnson and beyond, when I was a teenager, but ultimately my main focus has been on Classical music for most of my career.
