Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My first lesson with a new student begins with a meet & greet. I talk with the student about past golf experiences, what they are currently working on in their golf swing & what their goals are. My student will begin hitting while we continue to chat. I will then give an assessment of what I see & then begin our journey together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

How did you get started teaching?
See Answers Above:)
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages and all skill levels. From 5 years olds just discovering the game, to players with single digit handicaps. All players need guidance, regardless of their ability or goals.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
There is nothing I love more then a email, phone call or text from a student regarding their improvement and goals being reached.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Its important for a teacher and student to connect and be able to work together. Through beginning with group instruction or a half hour lesson, you can easily get the feel if you will mesh well.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Its important for a student to let me know what their goals are about and what they are willing to do to reach these goals. Whether they want to be a tour player or just be able to have something enjoyable to do with friends.
