About
I've been teaching and practicing meditation for over 45 years. I trained as a monk in India. I've taught over 15,000 people in the US, Canada and India. I've trained in a variety of meditative traditions as can be seen in the books and articles I've authored. I'm also professionally trained in psychology and neurotherapy. I've been on the faculty of a medical school for 21 years. I'm the founder and director of the Anam Cara Meditation Foundation, a non-profit I started in 2001.
It's a privelege for me to guide people in their discovery of inner resources and the ability to free their mind and body from old patterns through the use of meditative practices. Meditation is the ultimate self-empowerment practice! Through mindfulness, mantra and guided meditation practices people transform their lives. There's no better way to help people. I've taught in prisons, hospitals, corporate settings, universities and more. Everyone can benefit from practicing meditation.
