I’ve always been a coach. There was never really a time when I wasn’t coaching a friend, family member or coworker… pushing them to become better in some way. It took me a long time to realize that moving people forward is what I’m most passionate about - helping them realize that their purpose on this planet to learn to love themselves and others on a deeper level. It’s that simple. The more we embrace that reality, the more beautiful our lives become.
Growing up in rural Northern California, I had the privilege of experiencing one of those “old-fashioned” childhoods, complete with bicycles, tree forts, mud fights and carving passageways through acres of blackberry fields. My mom was an educator and a really hard worker - she insisted that I have an education so I could experience the world. That’s exactly what I’ve done and what I’ll continue to do. I think she might have expected my path to be a bit more conventional, but conventional is just not who I am.
Somehow I found my way out of the blackberry bushes and moved to New York what seems like a million lifetimes ago. I finished my undergraduate at CUNY-Hunter in Film/Media & French, and spent two years studying at La Nouvelle Sorbonne in Paris. After working in publishing and media for a number of years I enrolled in the coaching program at New York University and have been building my business ever since.
I love my life! I love all the adventures I’ve had and all the adventures I’m still having. I love feeling like I’m doing something positive for the world by helping other people love their lives too. It’s hard work getting to this place. You’re not gonna walk away feeling like a baller after two weeks of working together. It takes time. It takes commitment. But if you really want to be your best self then inevitably you will make progress. It’s simple... but not always easy. That’s what I’m here for, to make it a little easier.
