About
Forged Iron Golf is an indoor facility with 7 TrackMan Launch Monitors. We have the ability to teach golf using TrackMan's swing analysis and video. This makes learning and improving easier, faster and more fun. Our students can practice on the driving range, target range, play small games or play famous courses from around the world. We've been teaching Jr. golf for 2 years and this facility is built for learning.
It's a thrill to work with people who want to improve. When they have that breakthrough moment and start to hit more good shots, it is very rewarding.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our students success comes from analyzing their current abilities, understanding their golf goals, then creating games and drills to help them improve while we discuss thought process and strategy to reduce strokes on the course.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a former professional hockey player and coach. I turned my passion for teaching hockey into playing and teaching golf. I've competed in the Bridgeport District Championship and the CT Open. I am a US Kids Golf Certified Coach.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Our lesson prices are $125/hr. This includes the bay time and TrackMan analysis tools.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching with a youth team in southern Westchester and began teaching adults shortly after.
What types of students have you worked with?
The students and players I've worked with cover the golf spectrum. From youth players who have never held a club to players competing in regional events.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would look for a coach who will teach me how to swing a golf club, make contact with the ball and can give me an understanding of how the game is played and what to expect when I am on the course.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
For beginner golfers especially, I would want to know how long before I am ready to play on a golf course, keeping in mind that I still have much to improve on and learn but knowing that playing on a course, even if its only a few holes is a very important part of learning how to golf.
