What is your typical process for working with a new student?

The first lesson is the most important.  I like to recommend 1 hour for the first lesson.  The hour allows me to establish a relationship with the student without feeling rushed.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Each and every year i go through product training for new equipment.  This allows me to stay current with technology.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Half Hour lessons - $60

Hour lessons - $100

How did you get started teaching?

I have been a student of the game ever since i can remember.  I started playing golf at the age of 5.  I got my first opportunity to teach while I was in college.  My first position in the golf business was as the Teaching Professional at a resort in Northern New Hampshire.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with a wide range of students from novice to LPGA tour players.  I am also list as a coach for the Special Olympics.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

The club where I work they had no formal junior golf programs.  Since my arrival I have established a PGA Jr League, High School Intramural Program, Junior Clinics, and Summer Camps for ages 6-16.

In todays market there are 2 things that are important.

1. Use of Video
2.  Grass driving range and short game area.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
