MFB Equestrian Llc
About
We offer horseback riding lessons to children and adults of all ages. We strive in teaching horsemanship skills so not only are you learning how to ride, you are also learning how to properly care for the horse before and after your riding lesson. We are also American riding instructor certified instruction. Which puts us above many other facilities in the area. I have been riding since the age of 6 years old and teaching for 17 years. I also was a veterinary technician for 15 years prior to starting MFB equestrian in 2017. So caring for the horses is our main priority at MFB equestrian. We also love making our clients feel like they are a part if our barn family.
I get to do what I absolutely have loved my whole life! Be around horses and teach people the proper care and horsemanship skills they need to be a safe and confident rider.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First we fill out a questionnaire about their riding abilities and goals. Then I will decide what level there riding abilities are and which school horse will best fit the student. At MFB it's all about teaching horsemanship skills and learning how to ride. We teach how to properly work and care for the horse before and after the riding lessons. The students learn to groom and tack their horses.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been riding my whole life recreational and competitive. I've ridden with top level and Olympic athletes over the years and I'm also a American riding instructor certified instructor for Hunter, Equitation and Dressage. I'm a member of the USEF, USHJA, USDF, WHVPHA, NJPHA.

How did you get started teaching?
I started when I was a teenager just teaching the young kids around the farm. It quickly grew into a passion that I enjoyed, seeing each week the growth of knowledge that I had to share. I realized I was very good at teaching and I quickly had a nice following of students. I started going to as many clinics as possible to further my knowledge.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with all ages and riding abilities from beginner to advanced.
