About
I am a certified instructor with the United States Golf Teachers Federation/ World Golf Teachers Federation and have been involved with the game of golf for 52 years. I was Director of Golf at Raccoon Golf Club and an assistant pro at Walnut Hill GC under Billy Collins. I have worked with players on the Pickerington North High School golf team that finished second in the State of Ohio in Division I in 2013. I have also been the Head Boys Golf Coach at Lakeview Junior High in Pickerington and I have worked with several players for the Mt. Saint Joseph College Mens team in Cincinnati.I am a big believer in using the students god given talents to learn and enjoy the wonderful game of golf. I am currently working out of Cumberland Trail GC where I teach and do 9 hole playing lessons. I also use Westerville Golf Center and conduct 9 hole playing lessons at Pine Hill GC in Carrol, Ohio. I can help you take your game to the next level so that you are able to achieve your goals and "keep it in the short grass" !!!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Look at the students current swing and then put together a program that best works with the students current abilities. I will also ask the student what areas of their game that they want to improve in. I will also use playing lessons so the student can see the results of their hard work in "real time".
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a player for over 50 years and a Certified Teaching Professional for over 40 years. I am currently a Certidied Instructor with the United States Golf Teachers Federation(USGTF).
