RLM Performance Horses
About
RLM Performance Horses provides a unique experience for both horse and rider to perfect their technique and bond through training.
I've been around horses my entire life, started training at 12 years old and giving lessons at 16 years old. I have worked in several barns and under trainers, and am glad to share what I have learned with others ddI share the same passion for horses as I do.
I showed most disciplines in 4-H, then ventured out into open shoes from dressage to running rodeo and barrel racing circuits. I have taken kids in the local 4-H abs transformed them into confident riders who discover their true purpose and passion.
I enjoy working with people and their horses, and watching them gain confidence with their newly learned skills. Overtime, I have seen both horses and riders alike really come alive and learn about themselves while blossoming as truly talented individuals. It makes my heart smile to see others have that ah-hah moment, or really start to connect with what they are working on.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first time meeting will be a short and simple session on trying to get to know the student and their horse, but also to find out what they excel in and what they want to work on.
The next lessons will be to break each thing down one by one and start making improvements over time. Progress is looked at from all angles and every accomplishment is taken into account. I want to build confidence in my students and teach them to trust themselves, their horse, and the techniques.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was in 4-H and around horses my entire life.
I began training and riding for others when I was 12, broke my first horse at 15 and started giving lessons when I was 16.
I worked under a trainer over the summer, have been to several training clinics over the years. I worked under a trainer for two years, then ran and and co-owner the business for an additional two after I graduated high school.
I left to pursue my own business and build a clientele.
