Director of Instruction and Owner Kyle Morris was ranked as "America's best young instructor" by golf digest in 2017 and 2019. He has also been endorsed by 5 of the top 20 Golf Digest Teachers in America, serves as Golf Channel media personality where he can be seen several times on the golf channel. Kyle also works with Michael Thompson and helped him improve from 181st on the pga tour in ball striking to top 15 as well as improving his world ranking from 380 to top 100
Kyle also has two amazing young instructors working with him named Carson Stone ($110 an hour) and Mitch Farrer ($80 an hour). Both of which are great instructors and follow The Golf Room way.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Director of Instruction and Junior Champions Director Kyle Morris, who is endorsed by 5 of the top 20 Golf Digest Teachers in America, can help you build the swing of a lifetime. For 7 years, Kyle traveled around the world playing in events on the PGA Tour Latin America, PGA Tour Canada, and Web.com tour. While touring, Kyle accumulated 5 professional wins, over 25 top 5’s, and over 50 top 15’s, with a career low round of 60.
Kyle brings to life the art and science of the swing through mentorship by Mike Bender, Stan Utley, Pia Nilsson, Lynn Marriott, and James Siekmann (All top 25 of Golf Digest Instructors). As a player, Kyle understands that there is more to golf than just the swing and that it takes a full coaching philosophy. Kyle will emphasize the individual’s unique set of skills by taking time to understand each student’s goals, commitment level, and physical issues, so that he can provide a customized plan that will maximize the golfers’ opportunity to improve. He accomplishes this by creating an individualized practice plan using the most accurate assessments and the most effective drills and training aids to efficiently turn your weaknesses into strengths. The end goal for each student is to develop maximum consistency that creates solid shots and a lifetime of enjoyment from this great game. Lesson rates at The Golf Room range from $80 an hour to $140 an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
After traveling 40 weeks in 20 countries in 2014 with two kids and a wife, I was called to the instruction side of the business and built an all incompassing program where the player has the ability to not only work on his swing, but also world renown coaching for their body and their mind. We also have over 4,000 head and shaft components for custom club fitting.
What types of students have you worked with?
All skill levels. We work with tour players to 5 year old kids. What many amatuers do not realize is the importance of good instruction early in their process. If you find good instruction early it saves a lot of money and time over the long haul.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that whoever you work with creates ways to monitor your practice when you are by yourself. The player must become their own coach and you cannot build a proper golf swing off of what feels good and or feelings themselves. Proper swings create proper feelings so make sure you have feedback in your practice to ensure you are doing it correctly
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
While our prices will be more than other quotes you get their is a reason for that. You are paying for a quality service and we can do things in one lesson that others might take 6-12 months to accomplish. We use the games best technology and are able to actually quanitfy your success so you can actually see your improvment.
