What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first thing we always do with new athletes is take them through a free athlete assessment to get baseline results. From there, we use the assessment to guide their training in CAP.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our CAP coaches are Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists (CSCS) through the NSCA. We are also the head strength coaches for Hamilton High School partnered with Kettering Health Network.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
1 session per week: $59 per month
2 sessions per week: $99 per month
3+ sessions per week: $139 per month
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with any type of youth athlete, whether it be football or something as unique as Irish tap dancing
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you are choosing a coach that has your overall athleticism in mind. A lot of coaches will preach “sport-specific” which is an overused term that many do not know the proper way to apply this. Also make sure the coach is producing measurable results not just based on the “eye test”, at ELITE we do reassessments every 3 months to track improvements.
