About
I'm a 5 star provider on Lessons.com and Thumbtack. As a member of the USGA and AAU, I've coached golf and basketball at the junior and youth levels for over 10 years. I prefer to teach at a driving range environment so that we can focus on the fundamentals. I also have extensive knowledge on club fitting and mechanics. I will examine your equipment to make the best determination and recommendation for your game. *NOTE* Golf lessons can't fix problems overnight. Please be patient. I want you on the course, playing well, ASAP. However, learning the proper swing techniques takes a few lessons.
Having fun and getting results over a shorter time.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The 1st lesson involved evaluation, scoring, and planning. I don't like to waste much time, but evaluation is a huge part of the process. Not everyone is a great athlete, but everyone can learn how to play golf competitively.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've learned from the best and developed some of my own legendary techniqes. Golf is made up of two components: 1) Mental 2) Physical. I can teach you to master both. Most imporant, I want you to make Golf fun! USGA & AAU Member.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
For a one on one lesson, it's $40 per hour. For multiple lessons, the price goes down. I have special pricing for group lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching at a corporate job I have. People needed help and knew I played competitive golf. I put a couple of kids on college teams and word of mouth spread. I've been doing it every since. Developed and proven techniques.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with Adults, Kids, and groups of 3.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Nothing specific. Watching someone take the perfect swing and hitting it down the middle of the fairway is a huge thrill for me.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would hire someone like me. I'm older, but not too old. I'm young enough to be relative and teach you the basics. However, I'm skilled enough and modern enough to pay attention to the trends following the game.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I would make sure that you're going to have enough time to practice what you learn after leaving each lesson. If you don't practice there's no way you can grasp the basic techniques.
