What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Interview the student to see what they want to work on as well as what their tendencies are.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a lifetime member of the PGA of America. I have taught for 20+ years right now and hope to continue doing it for 20 more
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My lessons are $50 for an hour and that includes balls to hit. I also offer a discount on package deals depending on how many lessons you would like to take.
How did you get started teaching?
I became a PGA of America professional in 1982 and have served as apprentice and head golf professional At a few clubs throughout the Columbus area.
In 1997 I took a job as an instructor at the old Golden Bear golf Center. I’ve been Teaching on my own ever since 1997.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all kinds of students and all levels. I very much like to work with beginners.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The best thing that happens is when you get the results back from the student when they played. When people shoot their best rounds of golf after your lesson it is very pleasing.
