Jahaven is a Nationally Certified Massage Specialist and Neuromuscular Therapist. He graduated from Heritage College of Massage Therapy with over 1,200 hours of training in manual therapy. He is an insured professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association. He is also an Ace certified Health Coach, Personal Trainer, and Group Fitness Instructor. He is also a professional fighter.
His goal for every client is to integrate the body for optimum function and maximum performance. Through manual therapy and integrated exercise, his clients can obtain and maintain a pain-free living.
As a Holistic Specialist, his goal is to help every client experience a pain-free, healthy, and happy lifestyle. Using neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, trigger-point therapy, and deep tissue Swedish massage, He can relieve effects of stress, chronic pain, headaches, repetitive motion syndromes and tendonitis.
As a former collegiate athlete, He is particularly sensitive to the needs of athletes. In fact, he has assisted professional bodybuilders, powerlifter, cross fitters, tennis players, distance runners, and basketball players in preparation for events; as well as recovery after.
He believes in the body’s ability to heal and that massage therapy and regular exercise are two of the many paths to restoring health and wholeness to the body.
When working with my students and athletes I first assess where they are at. This tells me what areas they are strong in and where they're lacking.
For example an athlete might be big and strong but lack proper techniques. On the flip side the athlete might be technically sound but need to increase speed and strength.
I take each person on a case by case bases. No two people are a like. Also not everyone responds to the same coaching ques. I enjoy taking the time to know the person on a individual level.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I want to meet with them in person. I like going over all their goals not just short term but in a 5 year plan. I need to know how much of an investment you are willing to make in chasing your dreams.
Once we know your goals and aspirations we can through a sample training session. This is so we know if we're a good fit for one another. If we are then we start immediately ,if not I refer you to other professionals I think we be helpful.
