About
Samantha Meeker is the head instructor at Paradise Hill Equestrian located in Tulsa! She started riding competitively when she was 7 years old. She was extremely successful competing nationally in both Hunters and Jumpers. She has traveled and worked for many successful grand prix / international riders who have qualified for the FEI World Equestrian Games. She is a very technical rider and very detailed instructor who truly enjoys teaching. Samantha finds teaching her students the foundations of classical dressage prepares them to be confident jumpers and she has successfully moved her riders through the levels safely and efficiently. Samantha has experience with many different types of horses and enjoys helping owners improve their horses by following the famous dressage training scale, and many technical jumping exercises! She currently has a young KWPN Dutch Warmblood who she is training to the grand prix level. Samantha is huge on family, trust and loves competing. She loves bringing kiddos (including her own)along to the shows.
I enjoy not just teaching, but investing in the growth of my students and horses. I challenge but support my team. We have a wonderful family dynamic and we all share a true passion for the sport!

FEI World Equestrian Games (Olympics): My horses sire (dad) competed in the event. Riders I have worked with competed in this event for 2018!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure to meet the instructor so you can see if there is a connection with the instructor. Also, ask A LOT of questions!
