Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I have new clients fill out the new client info page on my website https://justmuscles.net/new-client-information/
Second, we set up a virtual appointment. We talk about the issues that the client is facing. I then use two devices to help record gait pattern over FaceTime or Skype, and then screenshot and text the exercises with descriptions.
We then shoot a follow up video of gait pattern to see and/or feel changes in movement and hopefully alleviation of symptoms.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 25 years of exercise prehab and rehab experience. Please see my website resume on this page:

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Current pricing is $95 for an hour session online.
I also have packages in 5 and 10 hour increments.
How did you get started teaching?
I sprained my ankle as a young 8th grade soccer player, and when my dad gave me a Sports Medicine book to read, I couldn't put it down!
What types of students have you worked with?
All types. Babies through 92 year old opera singers!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently I had a client try a shoulder exercise that essentially eradicated a 6 year nagging sore and tight muscle. I was given a huge compliment by another client that told me I was a "gold mine of information". I love helping people!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Grill them! Make them explain everything - ask:
1. What is this exercise for?
2. What muscles are we targeting in this exercise?
3. What if I feel other muscles working in this exercise? Now what?
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Please tell me everything that you can think that has impacted your body- everything from 'did you crawl as a baby' to the orthotics that you tried to the back spasm you got while remodeling the kitchen. Everything is relevant!
