Avalon Management is an amazing place because not only is Jody an extremely qualified, knowledgeable and skilled trainer/riding instructor but she really cares about her students and her horses. She is more then a riding instructor, she is a true mentor and not only helped me become a competent horse back rider but a better more and more responsible person. I took lessons from Jody for 8 years until I went to college and always make sure to visit her and the horses when I am in town.

Jody and Jessica are super knowledgeable about riding and teaching. My daughter has been riding for a year now and loves going out to the barn. The instructors do a great job of teaching to your needs and desires. My daughter never wants to slow down so they continue to push her and challenge her in different ways that keeps her very engaged but also really teaching her the skill of riding. It’s a great place to take lessons.

Jessica and Jody are such fantastic instructors. It’s really obvious that they have experience when you are learning from them, and absolutely everything they say and do has purpose and reason. I cannot recommend them enough. I was surprised at how much I could learn about body awareness, body language, and spatial reasoning when working with these two. Cannot recommend enough, 10/10
