About
I love to play golf and I love to teach golf. I provide video swing analysis technology along with launch monitor equipment for quicker improvement. My hours are flexible and I offered no restrictions on my student age, handicap or ability. All students welcome.
I enjoy the feedback that comes from improvement. The ability to teach someone something that they’ve never been able to do before or better someone’s ability should be the goal of any instructor. Is the best part of the job.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Begin with an informal interview process so I can better understand my students experience, goals, physical ability and limitations, followed by a warm up period. Next I will evaluate their golf swing (if not a beginner student) utilizing swing analysis video. We will view the golf swings together as I identify and explain the flaws and recommended course of action. From there, all lessons take on a personal and spicific course of action for improvement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received membership into the PGA of America in 2002. I have been in the golf industry since 1996. I have been providing golf instruction for over 25 years.
I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education from West Chester University, which provides me with a knowledge and perspective for the body and how fitness relates to the golf swing.
I received Top 100 Golf Fitter from Golf Digest 2 times in the past 5 years, which provides me with an additional perspective on teaching and how it relates to proper equipment.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had a beginner student who never touched a golf club come to me for instruction. He told me that he had 2 weeks before he was to play Pebble Beach on a work related trip. He had time for 3 lessons. After the 3 lessons, he was able to respectfully play the course including making par on a hole.
According to my student, his caddie was more than impressed.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
When searching a teacher, find out about their background. Find out about their philosophy on instruction. Find out if they utilize video swing analysis in their instruction. Many don't, yet video swing analysis is one of the best teaching aids invented.
Different instructors have different personalities and you are trying to build a relationship. If you and your instructors personalities clash, then you won't be as productive with your results.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Price, availability, technology utilized, certification/affiliation.
